I think one more year is needed at this point. A transition year in the A (even if it's just a partial year) would be beneficial I think as well. He has the skills, just not quite sure his body is ready for the NHL yet. Needs to finish growing into his body a bit first. I'm also terrified to rush these kids at this point because it seems like it always backfires on us.

He's not AHL eligible until 2021-22 unfortunately

I'm not sure of how the system works entirely, but maybe he could play in Europe next year? It might be beneficial to play against "men"

He was on The Instigators for the first day of camp. Kept stressing how excited he was, and how he feels like he's in the best shape of his life heading into the season injury-free.
