4th Line candidates:

Larsson
Girgs
Sobotka
Lazar
Wilson
Remi
Thompson
Okposo

Pick 3

Mine are Larsson, Lazar and Girgs.

- SabreWest

Assuming asplund is on the Sabres already

Lazar Thompson okposo. Okposo because if this is realistic. We can’t move him and he’s stuck.

So is the Faulk trade a fair comparable for Risto?
- mhp

I think it’s comparable. The only difference is that he has term left

Waiving Okposo and keeping lazar would save us $300k

I know we dont live in a world where that is remotely a possibility. I'm just saying

You need to post a shirtless pic so Gerbe can compare it to some rando who posts pics with his self-reported BF% and then he'll tell you what you really are. Scratch that, you don't even need to be shirtless, he can see your BF% through the shirt.

Also, I forgot Faulk had an NTC and Risto doesnt. That is a factor also, they may have had issues trying to get Faulk to agree to a trade.

How ya doing mhp? How was/is golf?

Of coarse after I move to England the devils decided to make some noise

- dmarsden2988

Hey dmars!

All is well. Golf is good. Retiring next year. Devils should be good this year.

ABSOUTELY CORRECT!

The Sabres however need to trade him to help where they absolutley need it the most.
Primary scoring from The Top 6, as the 2018-19 team was short about 50 goals short of the average GF scored by the 6,7,8 seeds in the East.

That was with Skinners banner goal scoring season, can he stay close to the 40 again?
Vesey is a wash with Pommer's 16
Johansson at 17 helps a bit.
Internal growth should also be expected to help a bit.

They likely remain 20 - 30sh goals short.
Risto is redundant to Montour, Miller and likely Jokiharju.
Borgen can replace Risto's minutes until Montour is back.

Dumb, dumb, dumb not to trade him for Top 6 help.
In fact, add to it with Sheary, Tage, picks to get a guy who is realistically a threat to pot 30

- IonSabres

You're assuming that "top 6 help" is being offered to Botts.

Someone put a MAGA hat on the new POTUS!!

Under Pence, Krueger will ascend the skill sets of Girgs Larsson and even...Sobotka!!!

Exciting times ahead!

I choose to air on the side of optimism this year when it comes our General Manager knowing what to do with this roster.

Keep the faith folks.

Botts has made some well calculated trades and is patient. I trust his judgement.

If we keep Risto ..... fine. If we trade him that is fine too. It’s not like Risto is holding out like the NFL

He's also thought Edmonton was the best in the pacific, and the Coyotes were a competent franchise.

And he thinks the Leafs have a deep team, despite the fact that more than half the cap is taken up in just 5 players. And their entire bottom 6 combined makes only $400K more than Alex Kerfoot.

The projected leafs lineup outside the top 2 lines is pathetic. [url]

Seriously question: do you think he was actually sick yesterday?

He was back today with Dahlin

You dont think it relates to his non-denial of a trade request? It doesn't show his dissatisfaction with being here? He's literally following the jalen ramsey playbook. He wants out. It's clear.

He's "sick" for 1 day

Anaheim is the team to pay attention to.

They were ready to deal for Faulk and he refused to sign.

Risto is signed, is younger and about the same player (slightly worse)

If we can land Kase it would be solid

Agreed though I don’t think Risto is slightly worse, I think slightly better if anything and significantly younger. Faulk was not good last year
