Pitlick will part of the top 12, until he gets hurt or plays poorly and they go in a different direction. He's not a lineup lock like Hayes, Lindblom or even Laughton.

If Stewart makes the team, it would be the biggest waste of a opening night forward roster spot since Rosehill in 2013.

How about Blair Jones, Boyd Gordon, Chris VandeVelde, and Zac Rinaldo? All made the opening night roster (Jones didn't play until game 4) and were pretty terrible. I think Boyd Gordon played like 15 games and was banished to the void.

I know the hamster is too dead to run on the wheel that sparks your brain to work but my biggest waste of a roster spot since 2014 would be RJ Umberger. For the price, the lack of physicality. He couldn’t do anything anymore. He could be replaced by a Corpse in a wheelchair.

myers can be send down to the ahl without waivers correct? i think at the start of the season that might be one of the options of a way to make the cap without exposing another nhl talent to waivers

I’m not gonna compare Stewart to Rosehill because it’s lazy. Stewart was a decent player in his time. If we are gonna go goon though, Zac Rinaldo, Tom Sestio and Jay Rosehill we’re guys who offered nothing. My vote still goes to RJ Umberger.

Out of Hagg, Morin, and Myers, Myers is the only only one who's waiver exempt. But that shouldn't be the primary factor in roster construction.

My mistake then but we’ve had a crop of bad players in recent years playing regularly. Chris Vandevalde looked like a guy only here because Dave Hakstol knew him in College. No reason for that guy to be here.
