Actually, your initial reply ("Why not learn the facts") was directed at him, not he person he replied to.
Why not try not being a pompus jackass for a day? I dare you to try. - jmatchett383
You just proved my point. It's important to know the facts before determining if it is suspension worthy. Nothing wrong with that statement.
You should take your own advice. |

Finally read back and saw what all the hubub was about.
This is what I suppose is being argued as inaccurate?
If that is the case, yeah, this statement is pretty inaccurate.

well...roster cuts continu, but stewart is still here. I personally was surprised NAk was sent down. Thought he had a descent camp but i'm not at practices. Guessing he will be up this season at some point. interesting interesting.
People asked before about d men trade partners.
To me Anahiem and Calgary are a little light. Not sure about a good match for either though. |

I cant wait for the inevitable meltdown that occurs here if Stewart makes the team.

Please no. I watched the training camp behind the glass clip yesterday. Stewart is in a lot of the shots. Now that could be because he is the vet on a PTO, but it just made me feel like he has already made the team. Sighhh |

don't care if he makes it as long as he's not an every day player. i'd be fine if he's a 13th forward when everyone was healthy. but he doesn't deserve to make it over someone like twarynski in my opinion, if they're considering him as a 4th line option anyway. |

I wanna say 24 hours after he was actually put on waivers or maybe just noon |

Agreed, while carsen has outplayed him, I thought NAK did well too, minus the fights, but has been better on the forecheck. Stewart also isn't as slow as everyone makes him seem....definitely faster than Lethera, shelley, grossman and a few others that have been in the league |

Not really a high bar. I want players who play with pace in the bottom 6. I dont think Stewart does that well enough.

right, not sure if he being considered or they are giving him every opportunity for his career. If he is signed i am guessing he will be the 13th forward playing around 30 games due to injuries. trying to look at the positives. If he is signed, 8 min a night, in position and willing to stand up for teammates, will hit. Heck...if it gets bad enough net front on 2nd pp |

i could see him getting some time though if a younger guy makes the team out of camp and then shows he's not ready like vorobyev did last year. especially with a few players injured already. i don't think it's a bad idea to keep him around. |

definitely. While we have some great young talent...just like the richards, carter, umberger, jones, sharp group. Give them this season to fill out and finish developing and hopefully go far with the phantoms. Get that confidence and dominate. If they need a few months like G give it to them. I expect growing pains, but let them ripen first. Frost example. Having groin issues...tell him. This is where you start the season, get healthy...you will be up. |

Every now and then it is good to have a guy on your team like this just in case. I mean there are players out there like this Gudas guy who is so bad that he even injures star players on his own team at playoff time. |

In a straight line, a lot of ECHL players would be able to outskate those guys, so that's not saying much. Other that occasionally punching someone's face and then sitting alone for 5 minutes, I don't see what Stewart offers over many of the young guys and AHL vets, at least on the ice. |

No - not at all. I don't think people like Gudas think. I guess I should have shown a sarcastic face at the first statement and a laughing at the second. I didn't suspect that I needed to add those because people on this board are smart enough to know. |
