The problem with guys like Gudas and Rinaldo was that they don't think "Well, should I or shouldn't I throw this hit? Will I have to possibly get punched in the face by a guy wearing ice skates a few times if I hit too hard?" They make a decision to make the hit and then proceed without fear of fighting a player for a few seconds.

In a straight line, a lot of ECHL players would be able to outskate those guys, so that's not saying much. Other that occasionally punching someone's face and then sitting alone for 5 minutes, I don't see what Stewart offers over many of the young guys and AHL vets, at least on the ice.
