replace pommer with vesey
replace berglund with johansson
replace beaulieu with miller
replace hunwick with joker
replace wilson with olofsson
if the johansson experiment at center does not work, we will be a bottom 10 team - homiedclown
Replace Housley with Kreuger
IF all of the following happen, we make the playoffs:
Olofsson is a legit first line talent
Kreuger has the team playing as a unit with effort every game
Casey develops and is significantly better than last year
Johansson experiment at center works
injury bug doesn't strike

All huge upgrades.
I don't even view Vesey as a Pommer replacement. Pommer needed Jack to help him score 90% of his goals last year. Vesey won't need Jack's help to pot 15-20.

Regardless, it's the number of goals you're likely replacing. Sabres lost 15 and picked it up elsewhere. If Skinner isn't with Eichel then I think he'll probably be high 20s/low 30s, Mojo will add some, and they need a big year from Olo.
Scoring was a problem last year, and I think it's fair to say it hasn't been addressed to the point where we can say "all good now"
One of the best vacations I have ever taken was to Anna Marie. Awesome awesome place. - Sabretooth9
Love the area - I have a condo farther south (Estero, which is North of Naples, South of Ft. Myers) but I'm always keeping my eye on the Sarasota Area. I love Long boat Key (relaxed, but close to Ana Maria, Sarasota and St. Armands).

I'm having trouble deciding who plays second line RW. I hate to say it, but I guess I want to see Tage there.
OLO - Eich - Rino
Skin - MoJo - TT
Vesey - CM - Seary
LOCKPORTIANS UNITED
I love our D
Goalies are average
Possible elite first line
Two third lines unless Skinner and MoJo (or Mitts and Vesey) develop sick chemistry.
Above average shut down defensive 4th line that can't score.
There's no truculence on this team other than Risto.
New coach (I can just hear Hamilton saying "They won't get used to the new system until December") but hopefully he is magic.
in short - we can beat any team on any given night but wouldn't be able to win a playoff round if we are lucky enough to make it. - Angler
This is how I see it playing out as well.

I don't blame Rob Ray for thinking that. It's an opinion, albeit a heavily biased one, based on his own experience. It's a pretty fair assumption that any veteran or former player who "earned his way" to his position would not want to see a rookie just "given" top minutes. If Kruger and/or Botterill thought this way, then it would be alarming.

Englewood is a nice quiet hidden spot.
Public beaches not overly crowded.
Fishing great.
And many golf course, if you like that type of thing.
