Who would you have chosen over O'Brien for example?

There is not one player chosen after him who has played in the NHL except Isac Lundestrom (15 games) so its all hindsight.

The other part is what proven assets? It takes two teams to tango and saying he should have traded pick for proven assets ignores that fact.

Full disclosure I wasn't and still am not all that enamored with the O'Brien pick. But calling him a bust is silly.

Basically ACD (Im a Collab-Telecom engineer by trade so approve of that name) is complaining that the Flyers drafted players who are doing what they are supposed to for where they are drafted and deserve no credit for that.

Well. That is kinda how the pens and Chicago built their multi championship teams. La was similar. The bulk of his work are still young and are coming still. While Ron had some negatives he helped rebuild a solid foundation for this team.

Therefore, everything he did during his tenure was terrible. Got it.
