In place of who? (honest question) Because it wont be Stewart since he is already in the pressbox.
Raffl? - MBFlyerfan
Probably Bunnaman once Patrick back.
(Raffl or Twarynski)/Laughton/NAK is my ideal L4. |

i assume one of the 3 spots available if both patrick and pitlick aren't ready to play by the start of the season. i know nak isn't a center, so i guess 2 spots. i'm kind of hoping for farabee and twarynski in those spots though. |

More of a 2A/2B situation. - Tomahawk
I personally don't remember him being used as a 2B center for the Flyers his first year. I do remember him coming back slowly from surgery and handled with oven mitts for the first half of the year.
I am also frustrated with the every year news of injuries for Patrick, but if they can get this current issue solved I still believe he can easily be a 30 goal 60+ point center for the Flyers.
Not every player can shoot out of the gates like a Joe Thornton or Steve Stamkos, sometimes patience is needed and sadly that's one thing Philly fans do not have. |

Well since you think Provorov is nothing more than a second pair and Sanheim hasn't proven anything yet, I'd go with Konecny and finding Lindblom in the 5th as pretty damn good picks given where they were taken. |

That's why we acquired Filppula, to make it an easier transition for Patrick as well as a backup if he wasn't ready. |

Maybe I am not remembering correctly, but didn't the Flyers use Filppula to ease Patrick in his first year? - Glak18 |

To be fair there is a big difference between "hoping" or "thinking they are going to be" then actually being one. |

If they start giving out fractions of goals for hit posts, I'd be on board. |

Provy was a top ten pick playing the way a top ten pick should. No rocket surgery there.
Sanheim is another first rounder who is playing the way a first rounder should but nothing crazy.
Lindblom is ok as a fifth, but if he disappeared in the night the Flyers will be exactly the same
TK is a first rounder who is playing as he should, maybe a little worse considering he has seen a lot of ice with Giroux.
Let’s talk about O’brien Maybe Rubtsov? Laberge? |

Apparently a good pick doesnt exist unless you get Crosby in the 5th round... |

On a separate note, thanks to everyone who has joined the Philly Edition - Hockeybuzz fantasy league. We have one more spot up for grabs, come on in!

Sweet, I'm pumped we got a full league! Fantasy is so much fun and so easy. In case anyone hasn't played before.. some pointers, download the yahoo fantasy app on your phone and do a mock draft before our main draft on Oct. 5, the draft is key to a good season and you get a feel for which players are ranked best. |

If he stays on a PTO and doesn't play in real games, then it's not so bad.
I'll just try not to focus on the way Fletcher is using his role as GM to do favors for plugs and goons that he knew in Minnesota, instead of building the best team possible. - Feanor
