Why would he be pissed? He is coming off his worst season and any long term deal would not have been reflective of what he is worth. Next season he will make $7.5m which will be what his new QO will have to be. I believe he will also have arb rights next time around.
Don't get me wrong, I'd love to get him here.

Has/Is Cuomo introduced legislation to legalize it fully yet? I thought I heard he made a campaign promise to do so in Q1 of 2019. - IonSabres
Possession of less than 2 oz (I think?) will not be prosecuted criminally. It’s an executive order. Isn’t legalization but it’s a hands off approach for recreational use.
