Somebody tell me what Cozens is going to learn by wasting another year in Lethbridge playing against 16 and 17-year olds? Why wouldn't they at least give him 9 games? - SabreWest
My takes as to why....
1. We already have too many nhl forwards (might lose some through waivers)
2. His entry level does not start this year.
3. He can do 9 games at the end of the year (I think), but more than 9 games or playoffs would be 1st year of entry level deal
4. A Risto trade would bring in another forward |

He could play at the end of season, here or in Roch, after his WHL season is over. He wouldn't be playoff eligible, but would be eligible in Roch (if he signed an ATO).
Sending him down was the obvious move. He looked good at times, but he needs another year. I don't think it's big deal whether it was last week or 2 weeks from now.

The jets fans offered Roslovic straight up
I told them they need to re-acquire Armia and then trade him with Roslovic.
If the sabres trade with winnipeg, Armia must be involved E5 |

Curious to see who plays RW. Hard to read right now with Sheary out and ERod being lackluster every time they try him there. Tage has been their second best RW so far.

with Botts preaching speed, upbeat north south game
if John Gilmour does not make the roster as a LD with McCabe out and Dahlin as the only LD that fits the gm mold, we were lied to by Jason at his presser - homiedclown
Why should that be a surprise? That should be the default belief. |

Yes, acquiring Jokiharju to play him on his off hand, acquiring Miller to continue to play him in a role he’s too good for, and acquiring Johansson to play a position he’s not confident with have all been super sound acquisitions already.
Wake me up when this team makes decisions that are the best for their NHL team - OneKaneOneCup
Well, that was a pretty quick turn. |

Well, they refuse to do the obvious things.
When they do I’ll be happy.
I think the future is incredibly bright, and I’ve been saying this for 5 years |

And there have been a few of us that have said Botterill hasn't done poop to earn all that trust that's been thrown around. And we all got poop on for it. |

It’s really embarrassing that the Sabres don’t broadcast games on msg during Preseason. I really wonder why they don’t. |

He’s been good. Him tage and lazar all looking solid. And yes lazar should’ve scored on his chance

He's just so smart with the puck, made a nifty pass to Tage in front. Speed and smarts is what defines him and that's what I have seen in these few pre-season games. He was the same in Rochester last year but seems to have upped it his year.
I think Tage stays. Lazar is gonna be a tough call. |
