I cannot help that u can’t comprehend obvious points
We all acknowledge that he “missed” on some of the UFAs to be
That’s how it goes
No one said he’s been amazing
Moving in the right direction bc he’s also made some GOOD ADDITIONS
And the Center & defense depth in the organization that he’s built also make us excited for the future
Sorry u don’t get it
Guess u can just keep being miserable - jdfitz77
Missing the point as usual
I have hope for this year
But please send me some more IMPORTANT BOLDED THOUGHTS |

You truly hear what you want to hear.
I've said all along that if they get 50+ points from the 2C position, they'll have a good year. We'll see if that happens, and if JB did enough to make that happen.
Mojo looks good, so we'll see
But by all means, keep calling me negative for questioning the job Botterill has done to this point.
Tell me more about how it's negative to have standards |

It’s fair to question his strategy, and it’s fair to question if he’s done enough
But the wasted assets things is kind of a really ridiculous point.
And there’s absolutely 0 question we are better off then when he got here. Absolutely none |

There's plenty of room to question JB's moves and I enjoy debating with the opposite perspective on it.
If 2 of Mitts, Cozens, or UPL are above average contributors next season, opinion of JB will swing heavily. If they can't find an answer in net or at C, then it will get ugly for him.

I’m calling you negative bc you repeat this crap every day
But it’s not stuff Botts’ supporters are even saying
We all acknowledge that Scandella was a miss
Pretty much everyone has FINALLY ADMITTED that the ROR trade sucked
Yet he’s still done a lot of good things to help us move in the right direction as well
You clearly don’t get it
I’m not the only one who’s tried to explain it to you
Not sure what else to say |

^exactly
And even his supporters have questioned some of his moves,
and acknowledged his misses
I guess it’s just it’s just incomprehensible to some that we can also be happy with the good moves he’s made |

Flacco finally plays well & the Broncos defense lets them down horribly
Their season is toast

I am not a Botts hater
I simply expect that this year, his 3rd year, he has put together a roster that doesn't suck ass
He may have! Let's see.
I see a lot of excuses already in the works for if it doesn't happen |

If Housley was as trash as everyone (myself included) thinks, maybe JB did enough |

There’s a big difference between this reasonable post, and the crap you’ve been beating us over the head with for months now
Maybe u can’t see that
But yes, it does come off as Botts hate when 99/100 posts are talking about wasted assets & not doing enough, etc etc |

I don’t think he has. I think he needed to add another FWD.
But I also think the direction were headed is clearly positive |

Like I said, you read what you want to read.
This is what I've said all along
To this point, Botterill has mostly made a career here from not being poopbird Tim Murray. Now let's see if he can actually make a better roster |

Definitely the Sabres are headed in the right direction but I think this will be another year watching other teams play hockey in April. And quite frankly, i am OK with this as long as:
1) they get >85 points and really seem to playing well as a team
2) there young guys develop and show growth
3) 90% of the 10 UFA scrubs are not here come next September

Fangio has to been the biggest flop. We were missing two starters in the secondary but for a guy known as defensive guru with many starters left over from one of the best defences of all time from the 2015 team we haven't been able to stop anyone. |

Solid post.
I get the 3 year thingy in many cases.
I dont agree with it in this case, but next offseason the gloves come off.
If bringing Gigs and Larson back are a foreshadowing of him bringing back other deadwood next season, get out of the way, I'll be going absolutely bonkers.
He best deal the scrubs at the deadline and F not getting a suitable return as an excuse...anything is better than nothing at that point. |

That’s crap
Your negative posts far overwhelm the handful of kind of positive posts u make
Great organizational Center depth, and the same at defense, plus a potential franchise goalie coming
(Major things GMTM couldn’t do)
I’m sure I’ll see you here complaining again tomorrow
Just like yesterday
And the day before
And for months on end now |

Sucks that you’re so unhappy with the Sabres
Most of us see the team moving in the right direction thanks to Botts |
