Ho-Sang, Fritz, Hickey on waivers later today, according to Lamoriello.
I would be interested in Hickey, $2.5m for next 3 years, if he is still a solid D man (sounds like he is not though).
Not sure I would touch Ho-Sang. |

Sign me up for ho-sang. The islanders treated him like garbage the last few years.

For the first five or so games, I'd like to see the following
Olofsson - Eichel - Reinhart
Skinner - Johansson - Vesey
Sheary - Mittlestat - Tage
Girgs - Asplund - Lazar
Larson
Dahlin - Miller
MCCabe - Montour (misses 1st game or so, move Risto up)
Gilmour - Risto (up on 2nd pairing for 1st game or so, replace with Nelson)
Scandella
Nelson
That would mean
Okposo, Sobotka, are waived
Joker is sent down - IonSabres

They should have sent him down last year now it will just mess with his mind and he might not recover imo .. They just have to play him now that’s what happens when you give him the world when he didn’t even deserve it - gerbe75pts
he's not going to find his game struggling here every single night either. I think it sends a message to him and to the rest of the players. |

He has zero trade value. As you can see by the waiver placement. Probably means something. |

You are not wrong here, and same with Tage; initially with the Blues but repeated by the Sabres.
The difference seems to be that Tage apparently took the year end advice and worked on it diligently. They both still have a ton to work on in their respective games. I agree with Goose and said it last Friday..Casey should be sent down to send a strong message...let Taylor work on him. |

whats his contract status? if he is on the last year it might be worth a shot.. he can't be worse than Remi Ellie, okposo or scott wilson.. or can he? |

Probably not, but the problem the Sabres are running into here is that they are up against the cap as it is. |

So zero value for a 1 year contract at league minimum, who cares. Take the flier and see what happens (if the GM thinks he can add value). My guess is the GM does not like the selfish player and passes.
How about.. Sven Baertschi? 2 years left at $3.366 per, I believe. |

I think that's part of the issue. Beasley is better at what Zay Jones does best, making Jones redundant. It's very hard to be a good offense with two of that kind of player on the field. - buffalofan19
patriots have made it work
welker
edelman
hogan
amendola
with foster and brown, you can spread the field and have beasley and jones in the slot
knox can be used in the 10 yard range as well
my guess is we will see the real offense in about 3 or 4 weeks when singeltary is fully in the mix

Right, but if you waive him and he clears, you only free up $1 million of cap space. To most, that would be just fine as far as the roster is concerned, but for that little cap relief, I would rather use it as cushion to call a player up later, or make a trade for a better one down the line. |

Was Foster even active yesterday? I was at the game, but never checked the inactives other than I knew that Singletary was out.
My overall point was that I am just about done with Zay Jones. He just does nothing for me.

No, foster was out. And McKenzie was active but not really utilized from what I saw/heard as he's dealing with some sort of injury as well.

Need. More. Knox!!! It was just after his great catch, they faced an important 3rd down and I don’t think they had Knox on the field... need more Knox!
Tightend can always ease the pressure on the qb! And why they got away from that quick hit game plan after the td baffles me!
More Knox and more 3 drop passes! Allen will learn. And you are totally right on Singletary. Shame he got banged up so early. He just brings a different dimension to the run game!

Vesey-Mittelstadt-Lazar(x)
Girgensons-Larsson- Thompson(x)
Elie(x)-Asplund(x)
Dahlin-Miller
McCabe-Ristolainen

Looks like Jokiharju is going to stick around, at least for a little bit. Again, I doubt that's the case when/if the entire defense corps is healthy. |
