Based on what I've seen Raffl has been the absolute worst 4th liner this pre-season. He's slow and has no finishing ability. When Patrick (if) and Pitlick return, I bench Raffl and waive Farabee (not ready).

His shenanigans are cheeky and fun. Your shenanigans are cruel and tragic.

200 Foot player or nothing..
No one has time or space really for a physical player if his CORSi isnt there.

That being said , if said physical player isn't a defensively sound player also then Im not interested in him.

Forget the score. What were the shot attempt totals?

Raffl is not slow and he can finish. Big difference between pre-season and regular season for veteran players.

Yes no surprise because he is hearing this message being the worst player on the team since 7 years.
Still remember people saying Raffl playing over Jason Atkinson is unacceptable.

I'm watching Behind the Glass Ep 1 on Youtube. Why does Kevin Hayes bother to wear a visor? Other than the rules!

Hopefully he doesn't learn the hard way to wear it the right way. If I were playing I wouldn't even think twice about it after the Pronger injury. Not to mention all the guys who've taken pucks high over the years.

Probably just a bad habit but it's one he should correct.

Personally I feel this is the year! I mean that Taryn becomes an international superstar, no sophomore slump here.

Must not be watching the games then. Raffl has a goal this preseason. If a scores a goal every 7 games in the regular season its a very good season for raffl. Idk why you are expecting 4th liners to produce goals tho

I never noticed it until Feanor pointed it out. Yeah, he might as well not have it. I get it, he probably doesn't like the vision he has looking down if the visor is down properly. But if you get hit with a stick you may not see at all!!

I know the Swiss treated this game like game 7 of the Stanley Cup and it was the Flyers final pre-season game, but will the Flyers continue to sleep walk through the 1st and 2nd periods of games and only put some effort in the 3rd period? This has been a problem for years with the Flyers and I hope the new coaches try to end this, otherwise it's gonna be another slow start to another disappointing season in Philly.

Okay, I’m sorry but I’ve heard this all day and it’s garbage. This isn’t directed at Raffl but the entire team as a whole. Expectations are high regardless of what time of year it is. We brought in Alain Vigneault who has been a top coach for over a decade. You actively signed Kevin Hayes or traded for Matt Niskanen and Justin Braunn. You gave Travis Konency and Ivan Provorov exactly what they wanted. Now losing a game like they did today in the fashion that they did is okay because it’s exhibition. The season hasn’t started yet and the excuses are already sad. We probably will have a winning record and make the playoffs but oh boy, if we don’t get past the first round and go deep, we’ll be back to the same sad excuses like the ones I’ve read all day. The Flyers failed to represent the NHL as the best league in the world today. It doesn’t matter that they lost, what matters is, they didn’t complete. Period!
