He probably is in pre season. If he looks disinterested in the regular season, then I'll have an issue.

Thing is with a new coach, and all the things AV has said about this team not having the pedigree to act that way. And what he had to say about "speeding up the process" and they have no choice......

He shouldn't be looking uninterested in any game at any time.

All off season, the majority of the talk has been that the Flyers made some good moves and have improved the team. The moves brought optimism along with the additions of new players. What did it take to change that? One pre-season.

For me it is the whole preseason.

I expect to see some urgency. Some attitude adjustment due to the new coach and the new system and the comments made by AV throughout.

Instead what I see is the same old same old. Slow starts, playing from behind, the same bad habits we have seen for years now.

I guess some people expect them to throw the switch when the games count. I don't.
If they cant bring it against inferior preseason rosters and effort, I doubt they can just turn it up against real teams and effort. They don't have the pedigree, or any of the good will stored up to behave like that. They should have been going from the start.

This team doesn't have the right to coast through the preseason.

I think they should probably feel a little embarrassed about the loss, but at the end of the day it’s preseason. The game didn’t count. Hopefully they’re pissed off and ready to go on Friday.
