What is it with Armia and the PP? Seriously? What, the, (frank)?

Can they at least TRY to put KK in a position to succeed? He's already playing with sub-par linemates at 5 on 5, he gets no PP time either?

I would switch Armia with him.

If you don't mind me asking...as an adult what is the testing like? If you do mind I understand
- Takemedrunkimhome

I'm fairly certain it's very similar to a kid's testing...like, they met my parents, they asked me questions, they had me complete tasks that required asking for pieces or help, they asked me to make up a story with commonplace objects, they were intentionally vague while speaking about themselves so that I would ask for more info.

I don't have an opinion on the subject.
- jugkope

Really, so you're completely indifferent to it...? I don't like it just for the fact that today it seems everybody can join in and be "part of the spectrum", and even use it to excuse their behaviour, while there are others who really are autistic and may need guidance, but lack resources because there are too many people requesting services.

Well, now that you know it, I hope you can better understand yourself and get the tools to defeat that anxiety and self-confidence problem. Props to you for wanting to live a better life.

I can deal with anonymous crowds easy, I just don't know how to approach people and how to evaluate where we stand, i.e. are we friend enough that we can go grab a beer after work/after class and the likes.

Took me like a year to put the pieces together that the waitress in Bratislava who kept talking to me, was saying how the clubs wouldn't be so crowded that night and how I could wait to leave because the restaurant was closing in 10 minutes *might* have hinted at being interested.

- jugkope

I can relate. I've gotten better but still have nights out with friends and acquaintances that I've known for years and woke up wondering how people may have taken things and the like. I'm so concerned with not offending or understanding people I can often miss the forest for the trees. I wish I had a good solution beyond fake it til you make it...but it's all I have that's worked from my perspective...and even then sometimes I can't fake it and I'm an anti social wall flower

Drouin has way more talent than Lehkonen. In the o zone anyway.

Well, the way it was explained to me, if you are diagnosed on the spectrum you have access to resources, although yeah it can take a long time (like everybody else in the health system), but the spectrum does NOT include anyone asking for it.

Like, instead of saying I'm Level 1 on the autism spectrum, the ''old way'' would have been saying I'm lightly asperger...I just don't feel it makes much of a difference.

Fair enough. I just had the impression it was becoming a new trend, but it's nice if you don't feel offended or deprived of services because some schmuck thinks it's cool... Doctors and psychologists are often afraid to be categorical and say "no sir, you're not autistic at all" and instead take a "oh you might be in the beginning of the spectrum" approach

See my impression of the evaluating staff was more along the lines of ''we'd prefer if you were not just so you don't take our precious time after''.
