I've really enjoyed him on BTG NHL Network. These guys need this kick in the ass. WE have a good mix of vet and young players and his voice is needed.
I loved when they asked him if his track record and background makes it easier for the players to accept the fact that he was speeding up the process and he smiled and said, they don;t have a choice. That's the way it is. F*ck yeah!
Be a f*cking Flyer. That's all I've been asking since 2012. He summed it up beautifully. - cdearth23
I also like that he sees a lot of the same issues that we've detected like the fact we over pass at times. These might seem like small issues to some, but they're huge. |

I was under the impression that this roster that was submitted to the league was our opening night roster. I'm glad it was clarified that we can add. It is clear to me that this was simply the best roster to submit as it is cap compliant and we don't have to place anyone on waivers.
No one is asking for a trade.
Carter Hart will be fine.
Someone will shoot the puck.
Someone own da Chiefs...
Carry on. - cdearth23 "Here's to all that gorgeous snatch in FLA"...Mo

Morin struggled mightily the first half of camp-- so much so that he was the lone healthy player (except TK, who had reported one day earlier) to practice on a total off-day for the rest of the team. Sam himself said he knows there is a higher level to his game. About all AV could muster when asked about Sam was that he is a very nice young man with a great attitude and then to mention all the time he missed due to injury. But he got better in the latter part of camp and had a good game at MSG before the team left for Europe. - bmeltzer
I thought Morin looked better as camp progressed too. It’s to be expected that he was rusty. I actually think this is more encouraging than if he had been up and down. |

Same here! The last episode I enjoyed Jake, Couts, and JVR Speaking on AV. I believe it was Jake, "AV has won in this league so he knows how to go about it and the right things to do." He has the players' respect even just with his track record. Something (IMO) that lacked with Hakstol. Hopefully this wasnt just lip service from those 3 guys, but if they all can really buy into AV's system and tempo we can absolutely have a solid season and get into the playoffs |

Playing a game with 11F-7D shouldn't be the end of the world if Pitlick isn't ready to play or Welinski isn't ready to be waived tomorrow allowing Farabee to get back on the roster on Friday. They did it by choice quite a few times last season. |

Wasn’t somebody saying about a week ago that they should play Morin on the wing?
How weird would that be? |

Babcock getting killed on TSN, I wouldn't be shocked in the slightest if Dubas cans his a$$ after the season. Guy seems to rub a lot of people the wrong way. |

I agree Babcock is an unlikable guy and I think over rated. But TSN constantly looks for any Leaf drama that they can create. They are going absolutely bonkers because Spezza , a “hometown boy “is a healthy scratch instead of “dominating” the fourth line in game 1. Such is life in the center of hockey universe. If they don’t win a playoff series, Babs is gone. |

Haha they have like 6 different people commenting on it. I tend to agree though, if he's gonna be in the lineup game 2 or 3, just make it tonight. Nick Shore didn't set the world on fire in camp, they are interchangeable. |

This very briefly crossed my mind this morning as well. Hopefully that’s all—in one ear and out the other. My brain hasn’t been corrupted by Flyerbuzz, no.

Avoid this place on Friday. Avoid the internet. DVR the game. Finish work. Don't listen to the radio. Get home, shut yourself in a room and watch game @ 7PM. Plus you get to fast forward through the commercials. Just don't FF through Taryn.
You're welcome. |

The leafs have a stacked roster and they still can't go anywhere in the playoffs. Please keep Babs there |
