Okposo is too insignificant to this team to wear an A. Sorry, but playing time matters when you're a leader. You can't lead on the ice when you're playing 10 minutes a night.

No, I like Krueger. I'm excited to see what his system is about.

I just think anecdotal things like quotes from former players and people around hockey are a crap way to evaluate a head coach. No one was praising Krueger and campaigning for him to get another job. It's only once people get hired that everyone has something good to say, and why not, saying nice things is well...nice.

Just remember, the same things were said about Housley and Bylsma and even by some about Nolan. There isn't a single coach who could have been hired that people wouldn't have said good things about.

So realistically, I'm going to expect an average coaching job out of him because that's what 95% of the guys in this league give you. This isn't a coaches league like the NFL. If the team is the same as last year, are we going to fire Krueger? I'm not calling for it, because I recognize that the difference between coaches at this level is pretty insignificant.
