Flyers 1-0 at home this season

I think they played really well. I am glad it wasn't easy, keep in mind win #1 was easy last year.

Than I guess Toews does a good job of luring Sanheim away from the front of the net, leaving debrincat a clear look at the net with plenty of open space.

Doesn't change the fact that many teams do not have the cap space or the roster space to claim a player on waivers at this point in time. Cap information for teams is readily available. It is far more likely that the statement that another poster made is the correct one versus the one you made. Yet you called it ignorant. Maybe have all the information and facts before calling someone's statement ignorant.

Konecny was the best Flyers forward in the game. If Giroux and Voracek can click with Hayes offensively, that will obviously bode well for the Flyers.

Yes, I agree. Hayes had a strong two way game. Giroux and Voracek had poor games in my opinion.

the raffl hate is hilarious.

They played a solid game. Looked like there was an urgency to their game. Konecny was spectacular. Hawks have their issues. Hayes looks like a watered down coots. Bunnaman and twarynski seem to be in the right spots and I’ll leave it there. Hart was sharp

I’ll be honest, I wouldn’t have extended him. He’s a bottom six forward and don’t know very many teams that hang on to the same guys for this long who have seen minimal special teams and ice time but he had a great game, even outside of scoring. Worked hard. Protected the puck well.
