Always plenty of sarcasm around here when it comes to Bowman making bad decisions.

I don’t get it

When people call him out for a series of poor moves/decisions it’s because it’s the truth. He’s had several crucial (frank) ups over the past several years. Not saying he hasn’t made some nice moves as well, but he certainly deserves plenty of blame for the past 3 seasons of failure.

I do believe though that this season has potential to become a turning point where we become contenders again, and I like the majority of the roster changes he made this summer. Hoping it all works out.

Agreed. The sarcasm is over the top and totally not necessary.

Smith and Carpenter are AHL players. At best
- Elbows15

They are descent and should be used as role players on 4th line. Both have things they do well or put another way, both have valued contribution with the things they do. Most of us should recognize this. They aren't flashy or possessing great skill. They are what they are. They are replaceable by certain kids who have more skill. When those kids get enough AHL experience.

More likely ultimatrly a R Johnson takes a 4th line job. Hagel too. Both have enoigh ability to play on a higher different type style line but could become stsple onna 4th line earliest in their NHL career. They would be part of
a line which is purely about defense and checking with some energy. Wheras both Entwhistle and Kurashev could do well on a 4th line, they are more tuned for a third line or even a #2 line is their expectation.

What exactly do they do well? They are both fringe NHL players at best. IDC who replaces them from Rockford. Anyone will have the illusion of hope.
