It's an odd start for sure, with October ending with games in Arizona and Vegas. And they play the Blues twice in the same month? Not sure that happens very often - Pat1993
Blues twice, one week apart. Leafs twice. Bolts. Canes. Sabres the night before home opener. It's odd. |

I don't remember the Habs having their home opener on the 2nd game of a back-to-back situation. |

When Drouin finally matures, he is going to be a force to be reckoned with. I think Tampa gave up on him too early, but maybe the change in scenery was necessary.

I like how involved in the play he looks so far this season. If he keeps it up, I'm not worried about him.
On the flipside, Sergachev is having an interesting start to the season for you guys as well! |

Apparently the Bolts weren't looking too good against the Canes last night |

I think it's the Canes that are looking very, very good. |

I'd rather start with a brutal schedule than end with one like last season |

That's a very deep and philosophical question for which I do not have the answer. |

eventually i had to go get it so i took it to my parent's house and parked it under a tree in the back yard and told them to donate it to purple heart because i heard you get a tax break or some poop if you do that. |

Exactly, I think they had something like 6 shots in the last 40 minutes of the game. Perhaps it's best for them to have a rougher start and finish strong in time for the playoffs (unless they're scarred for life from last year's sweep lol) |
