I was out at a pub to watch Saturday with some hockey parents and we all thought Vancouver was playing like a team that had been out drinking the night before. They just looked listless and avoiding contact. I still feel that Horvat's line did some good things but just no real sustained push. I like the look of the tinkered lines and LA coming in for the second game of a back to back, the homeopener sets up well for our first win.

I am interested in Mantha . I hope he hits the next level. Biega is a feel good story but eventually he will be a number 7 again. I hope Det have a good year.

It’s easy and fun. I probably took 25 dates to games last year. It’s tough to get them to watch a game at a pub but they always love the atmosphere at the rink and this way I don’t have to miss any hockey all year
