Tough decision. Keep Hopkins. Always keep the elite talent.

Theilen has had 1 good week and Boyd has been a consistent 10-15 point guy each week

- Sabretooth9

Agreed and then I look at those WR's QBs...keep Hopkins

If I had Hopkins I wouldn't be trading him unless the guy I was getting was an upgrade and I don't know that there's many of those in general.

Boyd would scare me as the Bengals have had guys dropping like flies.

Also not to rehash this but I would have liked Haula on the 2nd line but Mojo is doing great as well

Why not both? LOL

...if we knew Sobotka was going to be placed on Line 2, there would have been even more griping, justifiably so.

I'm being offered a trade in my fantasy football league (PPR).

I would get: Thielen and Tyler Boyd

For: DeAndre Hopkins and Christian Kirk

- buffalofan19

If weak at WR I would do it

I would never play kirk unless it's a bye week emergency

if you are strong at wr, I would pass

The problem is that being 60% on faceoffs does not mean he's doing a good job on the 2nd line. The bar needs to be set higher than "not puking on himself."

Which, in the offensive zone, is basically what he's doing

- jcragcrumple

I disagree but don't want to die on this hill.

everyone: here is a list of numerous different metrics, ranging from simple to advanced that show sobotka is an anchor on his linemates

that one guy: but faceoffs

- robz228

This is the argument version of Sobotka crossing the offensive blue line and dumping into the far corner

I usually go by whoever is getting the best player which is Hopkins but in this scenario... Boyd and Thielen have both been playing great this year. I have Boyd in both of my money leagues and he is an absolute baller.

Boyd and Thielen are 11th and 12th in overall fantasy scoring while Hopkins is 18th and Kirk is 45th.

I'd honestly take Thielen and Boyd.

Oh no... I'm sure Sabre fans are devastated that Hamilton is off the Sabres trail.... now what can we do to get Harrington off the path?

A number of Sabres games are going to be on ESPN+ for all of you out-of-towners.

https://www.sportsmediawa...le-nbc-nbcsn-dates-times/

I paid the $5 a month for it to watch UB basketball games last year and thought it was worth it. Plus, when Disney+ launches, you are supposed to be able to bundle Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ for something like $16 or $18 a month. I might drop Netflix for that deal.

EDIT: the bundle is going to be $13/month.

- buffalofan19

THis is actually extremely helpful. Thank you. I share an ESPN+ with a buddy.

Does anyone else here have NHL.TV and stream through a Chromecast?

When trying to cast the app to the TV my stream is horrible in that it buffers and stops almost constantly.

The streams work perfectly fine on all of my Xbox and Playstation and Phone.

If anyone has figured out a fix or cause let me know

Could be interference between your phone and the device. Are your Playstation and Xbox wired or on wifi?

Throw a half eaten hot dog down a storm drain, that'll keep em occupied until the offseason at least.

I would have to think the bottleneck is the Chromecast, we have gigabit fiber here and the my phone tests at around 380 down in near the TV

If they are both wireless, you're probably pushing the limits of what your network can handle. If you have a PC hard connected to your router, give that a try.

they would have to put sheary on ir, no cap space otherwise

pretty sure they can retro the IR date to yesterday, as Sheary would need to be on it for at least 7 days

- homiedclown

Didn’t we IR Bogo though?
That would give us plenty of Cap space
