no hes not. JVR is a more skilled scorer but his Lindblom is better away from the puck, along the boards, in his defensive coverage. Lindblom is more responsible and that is more condusive to winning. JVR will get his time on the PP but if hes has a bigger role, his deficiencies get exposed - KINGKENZO
Okay, relax.
Lindblom plays with one of the best defensive centers in the game in Sean Couturier and Travis Konency who is currently out lead scorer on his own.
JvR plays with Scott Laughton and a rookie nobody anyone has ever heard of...so basically two guys the league nobody has ever heard of. |

I think lindblom fits on that line better
We're about to be 2-0-0 this is getting very nit picky - bulet13
When you use the point of 2-0-0 firvyour argument, yeah I guess we’re being nitpicky. |

Well...I don't know if there could be any boxes that this game didn't check off for me. Utterly satisfying to watch. |

A great win and a nice start to the season....I can see why Hägg beat out Myers...at least with tonight’s game. Just a solid effort. Top two lines seem to have some nice chemistry...and the other 2 are playing a solid game. What can you say about Hart, that hasn’t been said ? Kid is a keeper. |

Great game! Don’t know what any Flyers fan has to complain about right now. I thought people here would be going nuts about Hart’s shutout. So far Hayes has been better than I expected him to be. Team D is so much better than last year. Scored a couple of PP goals. Didn’t allow any P.K. goals. I’m a happy boy. |

Oh you’re crazy! JvR has a couple of 60 point seasons under his belt and we choose to play him Scott Laughton and a rookie nobody has ever heard of. JvR has 40 goal potential if you put him in the right position. - SuperSchennBros

I think we saw today why Gusev didnt net a big return
He was atrocious defensively. Looked totally lost out there |

The Devils as a team looked pretty sloppy and careless with the puck especially on the PP. I lost count all the times they fumbled the puck or gave us short-handed opportunities. I thought they’d come out better than this. |

So far, so good! I am going to try to not get my hopes up, but this does look like a different team! |

The Devils played the same way in their first 2 games. Not taking anything away from the Flyers but I think they are a bad team. If they stay that way I won’t be surprised if Hall walks away. |

Had the privilege to be at the game, notes:
-Hart is the real deal. The one save on the 5 on 3 PK literally made me sink in my seat. Unreal.
-Didn’t even know Hughes was playing (not a knock on the guy), I expected to notice him more that’s all.
-Our PK was great. When Hayes took that face off penalty and Couts was in the box with him, I was almost certain we’d lose the lead. They proved us all wrong and the building was roaring. Felt like old times.
-towards the end of 1st Devils started to control play, but before and after we looked and played great (IMO, of course.)
-The new center ice screen is ABSURD. The more I drank the more blown away I was.
-Nolan Patrick rocked a very, very fresh suit. |

I don’t want to get nuts because it has only been two games. But it certainly has a different feel having a true NHL coach behind the bench. |

Lindblom and this isn’t a knock on Lindblom but JvR is better. - SuperSchennBros
Don't know how you can watch Lindy/Coots/TK dominate for two games and still complain about JvR not being on that line.

also complaining that hayes is on the line with giroux and voracek instead of coots. makes no sense. |
