Early days, jet lag and so on but looked to me like a familiar story. Defense and forwards don't really have skill and confidence to carry puck up from their zone. Meaningless chip into corner, mindless mucking in the corners, nothing really develops, puck comes back the other day. Usual lazy play in own zone by Konecny and JVR. Looked like Hall sailed by Giroux and got inside position on the deflection that Hart saved.
And on the other side, some flashes of high end skill by Hall and Hughes, the kind we don't have.

Good news that Patrick will be travelling west with the team.

It's early but I'd switch Couturier and Hayes. 4 periods into the season and they've really not gotten much out of the top line offensively.

I didnt see it that way..
First 10 mins or so FLyers were moving and had some good chances..
Last 10 the Devils did.

Saw somethings I liked and saw some things I didnt.

You are right..Flyers have no high end Skill PLayers...especially since Giroux, Jake, TK and Coots arent playing tonight.

I think our puck possession game has been pretty decent so far. They can certainly be better but I think a lot of these gripes just go hand in hand with today's NHL. Guy just don't get deke'd out of their skates anymore.
