Maybe more worth it to you since you have those other players. I like having duos or trios so when they score you get clusters of points.

Same, unfortunately you get screwed by the +/- if they are on the ice for a goal against.

And a likely Hall Of Famer, Olympian, with an Iron Man streak. Not a bad guy for them to emulate. We goof on Babs' gud pro mantra, but mentorship is real. What if the examples for those guys were Kessel or Lupul ffs.
- Zezel

Yeah, I think part of the reason Marleau could be a good mentor was because he had a career worthy of respect. There's gotta be a world of difference for young talented players when they're getting advice from a possible future HOF'er like Marleau compared to, I dunno, Leo Komarov, or Tyler Cup Winner Bozak...
I suppose Spezza might get a bit of this respect, since he was a pretty good player at one point. He isn't really anymore though, and probably doesn't measure up to Marleau in a lot of other areas.

Absolutely, Babcock definitely was sleeping well knowing Matthews and Marner were having turkey dinners and playing mini sticks with Patty’s kids instead of snorting lines off of girls butt cracks on Friday nights.

I mean...I’m sure they did but like every other Friday patty gave them a family night

Not doing crazy poop quite as often is a slight improvement I guess...

Also 4 high danger scoring chances and only 1 against.

It’s pretty simple to me why Babs is going back to Goat, Spezza and Petan.

Those are impressive stats in this post and the one you quoted. I hadn't realized he was doing so well, but that is fairly impressive. Hope he keeps that up.

Marleau did a lot of good for this team.

The Leafs are off to a great start.

I agree with you.

I took a cruise with them a couple years ago and paid for the internet. It seemed to work okay. Depends on what you want to do with it--if you're looking for 4k Netflix then you'll be disappointed. But some low-res skype calls or maybe even standard def movies on Netflix probably would work.

Probably depends on the ship too...

Yes but you have to get the high speed version. It’s worth paying a lil extra. The standard internet is slow af.

This could mean two different things. Either makes me not want to sleep on that ship.

The Marleau ass-kissing is sickening in Toronto.

Thank god his leadership turned Matthews into such a responsible, mature young man and helped the team take that next step...

Former Leaf Patrick Marleau was not out of the NHL for long, as the veteran winger signed a one-year, $700,000 contract with the San Jose Sharks on Wednesday. Marleau was dealt by Toronto to Carolina for either their 2020 or 2021 first round pick to clear his $6.25 Million cap hit, and was signed by his old team due to a string of injuries.

Nope! This is incorrect Mike. The Leafs gave up the conditional 1st (and a 7th)... they got back a 6th.
