It's not all that easy to fire Hynes without a good replacement. One would think Rick Kowalsky, but him and our other assistants are a part of this mess.
I don't think Stevens has been a head coach before and I think we'd really just want him coaching the defense.

Jeez nj had literally just one chance (Hughes to hall) the rest of the game was them failing miserably in all facets of the game..cant even make simple passes..getting threw the neutral was like the hardest puzzle ever for them let alone getting into the offensive zone which was almost impossible so they couldn't get any good chances in front while phi could have read a book with the amount of time they had in the offensive zone..terrible

Maybe it wasn't a good idea to sit our best penalty killer when we can't kill a single penalty this year. but what do I know.

1. Hynes and Hall: if Hynes gets canned, does Hall have any sort of loyalty to him?
2. Assuming Hynes gets canned (and given everyone’s observations about this team being a fast/attacking team), who would you consider a replacement that can work with this sort if a roster? A retread? Bylsma? Someone in AHL? Another assistant on an NHL team?
