If you play with Crosby you are going to have scoring chances, it doesnt matter who you are.
I have no problem conceding that Simon is better at getting the puck in the zone, and probably comparable to Hornqvist at keeping the puck alive down low.
But it doesnt matter how many times you keep the puck alive and get open for Sid if you cant put the puck in the back of the net.

Have you considered that Simon gets extra space because its a smarter defensive play to cheat towards covering Guentzel because Simon isnt a real threat to score?

Maybe, but we know for sure that Simon is and we can finish this discussion if Tanev ever gets the opportunity on the top line. Which he shouldnt because he isnt a top line player.

Man that was a pretty solid effort overall...they had a bad stretch in the 2nd the Ducks piled up a few chances but to be throwing shade at their game tonight , especially given the roster circumstances is a bit much.

Why are the Ducks such a bad team ?
