And the flyers have played two teams who have yet to win a game...so I would wait til they played a team that's good - devils2929
Well, they played a team who also hadn’t played any games, and you. That’s it.
This is all way too early to tell. Can’t tell who is what yet. Are the Ducks, Red Wings, and Sabres this good? Doubt it. Are the Sharks and Blue Ja...okay, well the Blue Jackets prolly are this bad.
But I agree that we probably dont know who is decent yet |

Sabres offence is clicking. Ducks have one of the best goaltenders in the league who was hung out to dry last year. Red Wings aren't that good... but Mantha was really good at the WC IIHF tournament, and he might push 40 goals with his shot. Wings are still a year out from their leaven rising the dough. |

I think we have a shot at maybe 5 or 6 or so. |

I have the Sabres 5th/6th in that division with Montreal. Even though the offense is clicking, I still do. Bob and Florida should right the ship. Toronto, Boston, and Tampa are still better. I think most of us see it that way. I could also potentially see 5 representing the Atlantic (probably 4/4 split, but very possibly 5/3 for the Atl), so who knows? Maybe there’s a chance. I’d prefer not to put my eggs in Hutton’s basket for a full season, though.
I like Kase as an up and comer, but eventually I think they let down Gibson. Again. Shame, he really is great.
Detroit is gonna stumble. I have zero doubt this catches up with them. |

... this would be more what I had in mind. Simmonds would play on the PP. Rotate Palmieri, Boqvist, Simmonds, and Coleman around the line-up until the optimal combos are found, but the dues would be Hall Hischier, Gusev Bartt, Zacha Hughes... |

So, for what my comments are worth, (not much, I would imagine,) how much of a distraction is the Hall situation playing with the minds of the other teammates? You cannot say they aren’t thinking about it in the back of their minds...”gee, I hope Taylor is happy, otherwise, he might leave” and things like that...I happen to believe that they might be trying hard enough to fail..so, for Taylor Hall, sign the goddamn contract, or ask to be traded. Show your teammates that you CARE about this team ENOUGH to commit to them. Show you care enough about winning IN NEW JERSEY, that you are in for the long-haul, and committed to doing the BEST YOU CAN to make the NEW JERSEY DEVILS, STANLEY CUP FAVORITES, be it this year, next year, or 4 years from now...go ahead, and sign a long-term dea and eliminate the silent distraction. |

Probably not much of one right now, but will be one in February. Right now, they're losing, and the only distraction is getting that first W. |

Yeah not sure what’s going on here. I’m honestly dumbfounded by Hynes lines so far this year. I can’t seem to come up with any justification to back him up. I mean you can’t keep changing lines every night because guys aren’t going to find chemistry together. However the combos he uses are literally the worst. Why is Wood still in the lineup every night and why is Rooney here at all? Honestly they need to send Boqvist back to Sweden if he’s just going to sit every night. He’s not developing by watching this poop show from the box every night. Let him play or send him home. |

Playing Boston and without Greene looks tough but Hockey is unpredictable. Tonight could be our breakthrough. |

It would be nice to see somebody shoot instead of just trying to force passes through defenders over and over. |

Yeah. It’s ridiculous. |

Carrick did a great job not stopping anyone on that goal. |
