Leon has been our best player thus far and it’s really not all that close.
If we can win games with Connor still finding his way to Connor level, that bodes well

He’s been fantastic. Truly a superstar in his own right.

Oh yeah!?! Well I’m hurt that you’re asking an Islander fan to associate with a Rangers sympathizer.

Probably the fact that we no longer employ Milan Lucic.

Thus far, bear is unequivocally better than larsson in a top 4 role.
Hell, maybe even better than nurse.

So I guess the question is who goes down to the 3rd pair/sits when he’s back ?

Persson ?

Hard to tell right at this moment.....it seems that Larsson will miss 30 or so games given the injury time line so a lot can happen between now and then

If Kris Russell keeps up his play from previous years, leaving the Oilers hemmed in their own zone desperately floundering around chasing pucks...then there is no place on this improved team for Kris Russell. I'd give him about 5 more games to show that he can actually contribute, not just block shots that should have never been given up as shot opportunities in the first place. It's frustrating to watch.

Last game was 100% evidence that hes useless in his own zone, i dont care what fancy stats and graphs people can post. The guy is a straight up risk every time they get the puck in our zone.
