Yeah, Boyle and Phaneuf would help this team. There’s no cap for them, but no reasonable hockey person would argue the fact they would each play a role that is currently lacking. Just my take.

There's also a good reason absolutely nobody wants Phaneuf. He's done. He's been done for 10 years.

Top five team in the league at the moment. Oilers, Canes, Sabers, Ducks, Wings.... Is it honestly gonna stay that way. Most other Top teams are struggling not just the Leafs. From what I remember, he's got one of the easiest cancers to deal with because it's treatable with medication. And it's in remission.
