When you are alone in front with a red wing on either side, you are better off shooting it. Of course he is not a shooter, but thats just common (frank)ing sense. Get off the Marner bandwagon. He has been absolute garbage this year. That 16mil he is getting this season really went to his head. I honestly wasn't irritated by the contract when he signed it. Was definitely an overpay, but I figured that I wouldn't care as much when he started doing Marner things. Its time that he gives his head a shake. Who knew Hyman was the guy that stirred the drink on that line.

Hyman's good, but no that good, they would be having similar struggles with him there, just 1 less excuse. The only way for the line to be better is for JT and Marner to be better. Given both of their histories, they will be, hopefully at that time all of the lines will be going good too.

I miss Berezin... yes he was lazy and disinterested at times, but man he could skate... I'm guessing with today's rules he'd be pretty effective.
