Hey, I’m a Blackhawk fan for 50 years. I want them to win. But I believe that stupid, obvious mistakes should be criticized.

Over and over and over and over and over again. What's the point?

Not trying to be a Richard, for once, but which of the Cup winning teams has 6 NHL defensemen? Maybe '13?

Very true, but like Leddy, Brookbank, and others, Q had a really good idea of how and where to use them, not seeing that with JC yet

I think the difference is that the top four now are nowhere near as good now.

I don't know early returns are telling me they just need a competent NHL dman paired with them

Why didn't Saad 1 time that shot

This third line of Kampf, Saad and Kuby look great again tonight.

I really like that line too. More than I originally thought I would. Kampf is feeding, but they need to finish, especially against this team.

This line is solid. Indeed. Crow tested, test passed. At least early.

imho the 6th defensemen on all of the cup winning teams were better defensemen than Gus. That includes Boynton, Sopel, Hendry, Brookbank, Leddy, Rosival, Timonen, Rundblad, Cumiskey. Some of these are 7th or 8th defenders that were forced to play because of injury or played in a few games and I am not saying they are much better defenders than Gus. (Some of them also only played on a limited basis in some of the cup winning years.)

Nobody as good as Hammer was. Keith and Seabs are still ok, but not at the level they were then. Those guy were really good.

I know it's not his game at all, and he is insanely skilled offensively, but every time the puck gets dumped in, Kane is shutting it down. Season is off to a slow start for the team and him, you would expect a bit more from him.

I get that he is slow, but Smith is not a problem on this team. The 4th line is doing it's job even keeping the puck in the other end for stretches, and he is a pretty solid PKer.

No he's not great and won't fill the net much, but I don't have any issue with him.
