That hit Nurse just gave Kubalik (no nothing came of it) was 100x more dangerous than the Shaw hit. (frank) you. Drove him into the boards from behind. - kwolf68
Could that have been called? I thought the same thing but I (personally) thought it was more just contact. |

Because of that hit, it is time to take McD or Leon head first into the boards. A 5-0 team that has no business being any good. They are a waste just like Arizona...... |

I've got the EDM feed here and I'm dying laughing whenever the announcers say Jurco. They pronounce it Yurcho. Is that correct? If so, I now like him better and am sad we let him go. |

Honestly, he shoved him more than checked him so that's why no call, Kuby was able to protect himself. That said, you should NEVER initiate contact on a player from behind. EVER. It wasn't like Kuby turned at the last minute either, Nurse saw his name for 5 seconds. And I think in the future THAT should be called. |

I really like that line too. More than I originally thought I would. Kampf is feeding, but they need to finish, especially against this team. - I Am The Breadman
Does anyone think that Saad could be a regular 30 goal scorer if he could elevate the puck more and more often. So often he is stopped by pad saves. Also if he had a decent backhander, he would score more. He pulls every shot to his forehand. |

And NOW one of the greatest skaters on the planet is unable to avoid running over our goalie. No goal, as it should have been. |

I appreciate the clarification. I never played just a big fan so some things are hard to draw the line on. |

I just did the same thing - they said “Yurcho” and I said “what, who?” |

Can Nylander throw on a Oilers jersey with all these turnovers he is gifting them? |

I played, but beer leagues was my limit. However, I have 3 kids who play(ed) hockey, I used to coach (until my youngin outgrew my knowledge) and I saw my kid run from behind before. It was only a couple times, but your heart literally sinks into your stomach. I broke a white board on the bench one time when a kid ran my son from behind. That said, my guy, despite his size, isn't the cleanest either, though he's never run a kid from behind (he knows I'd kick his ass). |

Nice play by Maatta to use the ref to help get the Oiler on the ice. |

Why isn't Crawford protecting himself? Next, why aren't the players protecting Crow? There was no way McD should have skated out of the crease by himself. He should have been jumped on.

and do what...put the oilers on the pp in a 1-0 game...the hawks were smart to stay away from that BS...

I have a sneaking suspicion that Nylander will be down in the AHL soon for Wedin, Sikura, or Highmore (truer lower line players). |

Murph looks like a guy who has figured this game out. He has been very solid tonight. I can't think of a single poor play he has made. deHaan was struggling earlier, but he has settled down.
The 2nd period was a thing of beauty, yet we are one fluky bounce from being tied. |

He seemed to be avoiding contact not really battling for a 50 50 puck, but i think that hit by Shaw inspired him he's actually being more aggressive in his overall game which is nice to see |

dude, I am fine with the anger of him running over Crow, but this is hockey contact does happen. I think "take him out" is a bit harsh. |

Easy PE. Love the passion, but switch to unleaded. You are going to blow a gasket.
