Yes, you can have guys on PTOs in-season. Dennis Seidenberg was on PTO with the Islanders for the first 3/4 of last season; practiced with the team, was in pressbox on game nights, etc. Finally was signed to prorated NHL minimum (but never dressed in a game) on NHL playoff roster filing deadline day (AKA "the trade deadline").
The season where Simon Gagne ultimately retired, he was in-season PTO with the Bruins until they opened enough space to sign him. He retired a few months later due to injury and his heart not being into playing anymore after the passing of his father, Pierre. - bmeltzer
Thanks for the info Bill. Never knew that. I just assumed PTOs guys had to make the roster out of camp or were out of luck. |

the Leafs really need some D,
wonder if Hagg would help them. An actual stay at home D, but I dont watch them enough to truly know. |

Strome a healthy scratch even with kase out. - Peter Richards
Sucks, he definitely didn't look like a player that deserved to be scratched after the first game but they're so deep and vets are already taking turns. Hopefully he gets back in tonight. I think he's got a descent shot at proving a lot of people wrong if he can improve his skating just a little more this year. |

Someone needs to tell Gordo the point of having prospects on your team is to develop them lol |

They are pretty deep. Vorobyev the fourth line center. Guessing strome and Laberge will rotate in. Kase injured. Wonder if any will be used in a package later this year. |

Always a good day when you make $100 on the Rags losing.
Letting it ride on Tampa over the Sens now. If they win I'm going all in on the Flyers tonight.🤟 |

What apps do you use or do you actually go somewhere? I'm looking to get in on some action. |

I doubt the Flyers will rush Nolan Patrick back into the line up? Giving him some time in the AHL makes sense, especially since Patrick missed all of the pre-season.
Every time I see Nolan Patrick on the ice, he reminds me of Rob Lowe in the hockey movie "Youngblood". Patrick and Youngblood both lack a bit of grit/toughness...... |

I've just been using the Borgata casino app. It has its own sports section and they offer deposit matches pretty often.
I need Tampa to stop poopting the bed like now tho. |
