In all seriousness (not busting Ctp's balls) I wonder if the guys in Bridgeport that don't have the talent and or skills to break into the NHL but bust their asses trying hate JHS. Its has to irritate them at some level. - JimmyP
It's a good question. From what I've read over the years, including from guys here who have met him, he's actually a nice kid, not arrogant like some here say. His problem is that he's a bit of a space cadet, and that hampers his ability to learn from his coaches. Under those circumstances, I can't blame the coaches for getting frustrated with trying to teach him the same stuff over and over. But I have no idea if his Bridgeport teammates resent him for this. My guess would be that he doesn't have a lot of close friends on the team. |

I guess he’s only arrogant when discussing how great of a hockey player he is with the media. That’s all we have to go by on. |

My point is that JHS has the physical ability to be an NHL player, but can't work it out mentally. There are a lot of bubble guys that work their asses off, but just don't have his abilities. It has to be tough playing with a guy that is throwing away his million dollar ticket. |

Wow tickets are cheap to tonight’s game even by Islander standards lower bowl center ice for 60 bucks😂 |

Nice summary, Ben. Besides the fact that the Islanders were terrible, I will say that Carolina's forwards did a nice job of blocking shots which often led to odd man rushes the other way. - JohnScammo
Thank you! That's a great point as well. |

Good accurate write up Ben. Another game where the Islanders were too passive and gave the Hurricanes too much room to move around. Pulock and Pelech were bad and Kuhnhackl didn’t bring anything to the lineup.
It’s not time to panic but it is time to be concerned. - David_Volek
Thanks for reading! And yep, I'd pretty much agree with that. |

His roommate going to practice and letting him over sleep tells you everything you need to know. |

That was a roommate for the tryouts, not his regular roommate, but yeah, I was thinking of that when I wrote what I did. |
