The unsung hero of the season so far....went from a possible bottom pairing guy to start the year to a top pairing guy who has been able to handle it to this point....he makes Nurse better too

McDavid and Drai are 1-2 in the scoring race as of now

Yeah, those two definitely seem to be great compliments to one another. Nurse covers the bigger guys (though Bear hasn't been deficient there) and carries the puck out while Bear covers the outlet passing and keeps thing simple defensively. If this is a sign of things to come from Dave Manson as an AHL D coach

Certainly is a great start; gives the team some confidence and belief in themselves and the coach. I've mentioned it before but kinda reminds me of the Pesky Sens storyline. If they can keep up even a .500 record, they'll have quite a launching pad to build off of heading into an offseason with a lot of potential to upgrade.
