I was surprised (and also a bit humbled by a high level NHL coach) that Archibald was out there again two shifts later. That play...looking off McDavid, and then realizing he had no play...and then floating in such a weak excuse for a pass...that lead to a goal at the other end?!?!? I would have lost my mind on Archibald and stapled him to the bench! Tippett however...puts him right back out there, basically saying "meh, mistakes happen kid, keep pushing".

I really like how this team is looking under Tippett and Holland.

(I still think Archibald deserves a slap in the head though...two absolutely terrible decisions back to back).

Like once per start. While that first one he let up tonight isnt horrendous, he should have majority of the bottom of the net covered on a toss out front like that. If it squeaked through the 5 i could understand, or barely snuck in sure, but his pads were covering about 60% of the line. Not acceptable as a flames fan, as an Oilers fan i am ok with it.
