An excellent trade so far, that's exactly what a GM should do. Swallow your pride when a player you brought in doesn't work out and cut bait. - Nucker101
Didn’t someone say Pitts is looking to trade Guddy?
GMs see height and they go blind to all the player’s faults. |

dude was born a few years too late, he would've been a beast had he played in the clutch and grab era. |

They need a D like him again
I would like to see him join the organization, did the best interviews. |

Really? I only remember the Sven waiving being the thing he openly questioned/criticized. I don't read a lot of his work but if he did in fact question other moves then I was wrong about him being a mouthpiece like how Gallagher was for Gillis. - Nucker101
There is a difference between TSN criticizing and SN criticizing.
He ,Shorty ,Murph , Sat Shah won't call them idiots like TSN does but they question the logic. Their displeasure is a lot more subtle.
Sven in his first game last night was invisible even though he had 2 assists. Sending him down was testing the market to see if there was any suckers who would grab his contract.
Sven on two occasions last night slowed down to avoid contact . I am glad we are no longer penciling him in our top 6 |

Yeah, I definitely miss the swagger that group had, same with those West Coast Express teams with guys like Bert, Jovo, Cooke, Ohlund, etc.
I saw a video this morning of him interviewing some Canucks after the game. Wonder if he interviewed Ferland? |

Okay, but what else has IMac questioned or criticized? let's be honest, there's as reason why Benning told him out of all reporters about Bo being his pick for captain.
He's Benning's Gallagher, it's a great way to get scoops and more airtime, I don't blame him. |

Loved the attitude of our team when we had Kesler and Burrows doing their poop. Then they added Torres and Lapierre.
I was in heaven. |

He's Benning's Gallagher - Nucker101
He has questioned the cap spending on a few interviews. Again he won't call them idiots but he will say things like "We will see if these signings were good or could the space been used more effectively".
As you said he has questioned Sven .
He did have questions about Myers .
Pratt got fired for being a loose canon , and has not been able to climb back in since then. He has had to turn to blogging .
You just can't call the people writing the cheques an idiot. |

Yup, a guy who takes the media pressure off the team, gets into the opposition's head. |

Lol. Remember that time when Tie Domi had two players chase him around the ice while the game was still in progress? Talk about getting into your opponents head. |

For sure, you have to find a good middle ground. I think he’s a homer and has some bias, not an extreme one though like some of the sky is falling media types in town.
Also, the “it could be good or bad, I’ll let you know what I think when it becomes obvious” style of writing usually gets a bit boring to read. |

I have always liked Burrows . I always thought Bieska was over rated. I remember many times
Fire AV
Trade Bieksa
Play Schneider
I think the longer Bieksa is away from the team the bigger legacy grows. I was never a big fan of his and glad when he got finally traded. |

I agree his style is Canucks favorable but can you honestly see him holding down his job if he was man these guys stink?
Look at Tom Larscheid. One rant of frustration got him fired with Gillis.
Dave Hodge got fired from CBC for one sentence he said. "In all the CBCs ultimate wisdom they decided to show (fill in the blank) instead of the overtime. One of the best in the business fired over one statement.
