Ferland has thrown a bunch of hits. Gaudette has certainly come back down to earth. - manvanfan
I liked the line. I can see them all around the 12 goal mark Sutter over 15 |

Having Bo's line take over as they find their game has helped.Every line is doing okay but strong start from the D.
When was the last time we could say that? - VANTEL
Myers has looked really solid, early yet but great fit so far. Second most ES minutes last night. Only a few more seconds than Tanev but taking the pressure off him. |

IMac with the headline this morning “New-look Canucks finding ways to win that last season's team didn't”.
Aren’t we four games into the season?
Is there any decent opinion writers out there covering the Canucks? These local guys are just garbage; radio, tv, and print. |

Probably a combination of both...but he is being keyed on to be sure.
Which is fine as it opens up space for Boeser and Miller. But Petey needs to figure out how to get around those things that's the sign of an elite player.
Our bottom 6 is solid enough now to step in and play their roles properly. Ferland has disappointed so far but I think his game will get going. Green just needs to keep the lines together for 6-10 games and let them find their way. If they lose 2 in a row the lines will probably be shuffled again lo - LordHumungous
Ferland probably just feels the way Schaller did last season trying to figure out Green. Schaller seems to be understanding his role better this year been good on the forecheck.
I don't mind line juggling, sometimes lines aren't working and need to be switched.
To win some more games though, players or power play need to click more often. |

What did he say that was false advertising ? The new look or finding ways to win?

No. I was just stating what my friend calls the type of people that buy that kind of fishing boat. |

You defending IMac? IMO, he seems an extension of Canuck marketing. |

have sent Mitch Eliot to the ECHL for a one game stint this weekend with the intention of having him return to Utica following the game & I happen to think it is good use of their ECHL affiliate.

I think it was Rueben that pointed this out yesterday can't remember(senility) .
Looks like it was for one game. Probably will happen more often if Comets stay healthy. |

It’s a combination boat, fishing and cruising, that’s what we liked about it. Plus, I needed something big enough to take off-shore (50 miles) for albacore tuna. You need a 150 gallon fuel tank and you need the size for safety reasons. Off-shore fishing is a blast!! |

IMac has been critical of Benning Green and moves of the Canucks most of the summer. Not TSN critical but he has gisagreed with a lot of things.
Even Dan Murphy has asked a few questions.
The are not as house radio as you may think. |

He stated last season that the Canucks lost the most 1 goal games out of all the teams.
He used last night’s shoot out result to claim that the bad times are over and they are no longer that team.
I think it be a bit premature to state that. IMO, the article is better suited for a mid-season piece once a larger sample size can be analyzed. |

The ones he sells to people around here, that's really all they are doing with it. Says you see a lot of those boats around Florida.
I knew why you would buy the boat with the places you will probably take it.
Lund or Pontoon boats are usually what he sells the most of around here. More suitable for the lakes and such around here. |

Sure, I remember him being bent out of shape when Nonis was fired but I figured IMac was more upset about losing his insider than anything else.
If IMac has been critical over the summer about the moves made, then all it takes is four regular season games and a 2-2 record to change his mind?

I haven't read the article but
Canucks have 9 new faces thus New Look Canucks
WE definitely would have lost that game last year. So they found a way to win last night.
They did lose the most one goal games last year (Fact)
Bad times over? I haven't heard anyone say that yet. I would need to read the article to see what he is talking about but I somehow doubt he is saying this is a cup contender. |

You’re engaging with a guy who lives in Manitoba about off shore fishing.
Why?

I actually talked to Imac back then and he was very proud of his new job.
When others in the industry were being let go he was taking on a new position because of his body of work he had done well.

Cup contender?
I was just commenting on how IMac pulled out the pom poms after what I considered another sloppy, boring game from teams that look like they are still in preseason.

Summary
"They’ve got a bunch of new players, and a new outlook this season. They’re bigger, more talented, more experienced. But are they going to be any better?"
"They kind of looked like last year’s Canucks in their season-opener when they blew a third-period lead in Edmonton and lost on Connor McDavid’s late goal for the Oilers. "
Talked about losing a 3rd period lead but still managed to leave with a victory thanks to Pearson's shootout goal.
"Instead, they evened their record at 2-2 after a 0-2 start and built some confidence among players still getting used to one another." <--- nicest thing he said about the team.
Talked to some players about it and they end. |
