have sent Mitch Eliot to the ECHL for a one game stint this weekend with the intention of having him return to Utica following the game & I happen to think it is good use of their ECHL affiliate.

Canucks suck

I have enjoyed so far. We played 3 good teams and its been close. I don't think we are close to playing our best but neither have the other teams except the Oilers.

My main interest this year is enjoy the product and be competitive.

ferland has been my disappointment so far but he was really sick in camp so lets give him some time and find a spot for him and leave him to get some chemistry unless the good old injury bug hits.

As you’ve said this is make or break year for many on this team, on and off ice. I think being critical this season is acceptable due to the expectations built by management.

IMac has been critical of Benning Green and moves of the Canucks most of the summer. Not TSN critical but he has gisagreed with a lot of things.

Even Dan Murphy has asked a few questions.

Really? I only remember the Sven waiving being the thing he openly questioned/criticized. I don't read a lot of his work but if he did in fact question other moves then I was wrong about him being a mouthpiece like how Gallagher was for Gillis.

Man, that Pearson for Gudbranson trade was a good one. Doesn't exactly erase the terrible trade that brought Gudbranson to town, but having Guddy gone and having Pearson playing so well is a good feeling.

An excellent trade so far, that's exactly what a GM should do. Swallow your pride when a player you brought in doesn't work out and cut bait.


I feel like he's a similar caliber player as Higgins was, except Higgins was a bit faster when he first got here, and better defensively, but Pearson brings more physicality and more offense. Both decent role players.
