First and foremost, awful awful special teams. We can't kill a penalty (we're hovering around 50% I believe). It cripples the team every time. There's a lack of discipline and a tendency to sit Zacha (the best killer we have) that expose it.
We can't score on the power play, mostly due to being too fancy.
The coaching staff also doesn't seem to know how to stop bleeding. It's a new team, but instead of allowing chemistry to develop, Hynes just seems to shuffle the lines randomly and frequently when things go won't. The lineup we are getting tonight is largely regular but also has not been iced like this yet this year.

actually a nice play from Zacha. He made the drop-pass perfectly and then drove the one defender back to give Hall even more of a shooting lane. The play was also a breakdown by Florida, but kudos to the Devils for executing.
