ZAR just doesn’t have the wheels. Not really a hard worker either. It’s a million we don’t need on the books right now. - Thorny87
Hot take: I feel ZAR is having a Simon type year. Analytics are insane right now, especially since no forward he pay with is anywhere close to him. But it's got as much to do with shot suppression has creating scoring chances so it isn't real noticable. Just quietly playing his role. Little offensive explosion tonight is a nice reward. |

They should be giving serious consideration to moving Kahun as the sweetener. There really is little need for him once healthy.
IF the sweetener is needed in a deal. |

I'm betting he puts the win on scratching JJ. - Tojo.
Probably will do more on JJ being scratched than how the new additions have been stepping up |

Not to bring things down... again... WPG has two starting dmen right now now and neither are first pairing dmen.
Regardless I'm enjoying the poop out of this game. - Rinosaur
Jets just won 3 or 4 in a row. They have been known to have one of the best prospects pools in the league for some time and now and young guys are looking good, as eventually expected, and stepping up. Their forwards are among the some of the best in the league IMO. I get where you're coming from but we can't totally dismiss how solid top to bottom the Pens have been playing. There are certainly tougher tests than the Jets on the horizon but I don't think the Jets are near as bad as some make them out to be. |

Great game by Jarry. Nice to see the offence spread out.
Worst I’ve seen from Guddy. Not just from his offside he looked like he dipped his skates in lead. |

My guess is Gudbranson is the next to be moved, sooner rather than later. They clearly like Marino too much and Guds CANNOT play his off-side. |

This is what I was hoping to see... Young guys nutting up and trying to steal roster spots. I mean, Lafferty has taken a spot when everybody is healthy. |

It was the draft doesn't matter because the window will be closed when they get here. Either that or the organization has learned nothing by drafting gritty players with questionable skating. |

LMAO...well those are perfect reasons for a blogger that covers a team to ignore a draft. |

The organization as a whole can at least breath a bit easier. Hopefully the can keep it up and let everyone come back when they’re good and ready. |

Rust, Kahun, JJ, Gubs, ZAR or Simon and Bjustad could all be moved. I also don't know what they would do with Shultz either. I could see a stud mid pairing dman as a need, but not sure what else they really need with the young gus playing well. |

I didn't think anything could surpass Lafferty's first goal but ZAR scoring that SHG after one of the many phantom calls in this game was sweet . |
