Ouch. Think he’s sulking? - Brayn
Maybe. Could just be goalies are inconsistent or that they're missing an entire line and the right side of their top 4. But he's having a rough start. |

So does he get paid the same amount of money anyways, regardless of NHL of AHL? |

Yep, he has a 3 year 1.25 million per 1 way contract
We still got 200k of that on our cap. Only 1.05 million clears when a guys in the AHL |

ZAR's ranking on the team:
Points: 4 tied 5th
Corsi: 58.6 3rd
Fenwick: 61.1 2nd
Shots: 58.3 4th (Blandisi and A Johnson top 2)
xGF: 58.9 1st
Scoring Chances: 55.9 4th (A Johnson 1st)
HDCF: 52.8 2nd
He's actually the team leader among forwards in every one of those possession stats, Letang and Dumoulin are the other guys at the top. |

That is what I was hoping they did with JJ at the end of camp. It would cost some but would have gotten them cap compliant. |

DeSmith has started 3 of the first 4. Given up 12 goals in those 3 games. |

It’s about the long game, he’s irrelevant. JJ is off the books. Boedkker is a warm body who they can bury in WBS if they wanted. I only mention him because it make some sense salary-wise. |

Maybe a Bjugstad, JJ, and a pick for Boedker and Chris Tierney
I could see maybe a 1-1 Kahun to Chicago for Alexander Nylander. |

Rust, Kahun, JJ, Gubs, ZAR or Simon and Bjustad could all be moved. I also don't know what they would do with Shultz either. I could see a stud mid pairing dman as a need, but not sure what else they really need with the young gus playing well. - sammy87
It would be nice to package a few of these players for another top winger or an additional top D man. |

Bob Erreys call on the Simon goal was priceless. “Well.....they have been few and far between”. Had me laughing in my living room. |

It would be great but he has issues with puck control on his strong side. I’m not expecting this to be pretty. - Thorny87
Oh it was pretty lol 7-2
If we can't trade Jacko or Guds lets just keep rotating those 3 guys: Marino-JJ, Marino-Guds, JJ-Guds |

I really like Simon. He's smart and has good hockey IQ. He's just not a shooter. I'm happy he's working on the 1st line and finding his holes to thrive. |

If the Pens ever get healthy, they have to waive or trade somebody just to make a spot for Marino, let alone Lafferty an Johnson.
Lafferty I could see sticking on merit, but that numbers game won't help. Should be a while until we have to decide though. I'm still hopeful Kahun comes around. - Tojo.
Kahun is a goner to me. Keep Lafferty and A.Johnson.
Gudbranson or J.Johnson should be traded ideally but it's ok so far I guess. |

When I watched Lafferty in pre-season, I was thinking this is the guy ZAR should be. Hard working, straight line player with a scoring touch. - madmike71
Exactly. What I saw in pre-season was two very good players in Adam Johnson and Sam Lafferty. ZAR played like garbage but I guess he's a slow starter.
To me A.Johnson and Lafferty are mainstays on our 4th line. Kahun can go to open a space in the roster. |

You mean burry him in the minors like they won't do with JJ? Not sure why anyone would assume this is something they'll ever do. |
