After watching Stone for 2 games I’m hesitant to trade Brodie.

Whatever happened to the idea of moving Lindholm to center ?

We have had the same lines for so long outside of swapping a couple guys in the bottom 6 around ...and it’s getting stale ... I would like to see them try and spread the wealth a bit more

The bottom 6 has 2 assists so far. Maybe putting Lindholm on the 3rd line will help generate some offense ? Last year we had a really productive fourth line...not sure if they really miss Hathaway or Reider really is the black hole of offense that he was last year. It feels like we're back to where we were two years ago with 3d and 4th lines.

Wow that was a tough one to watch..despite the loss, at least we were controlling most of the game and being it was the second of a back to back, I actually was pretty impressed with their pep to the step play...But unfortunately they buried their chances while we couldn’t find the back of the net!!
If they continue to dig deep and play hungry, I have no doubt that the goals and wins will be just around the corner😉

No I would put Lindholm with Tkachuk & Bennett or Magpie, push Backlund & Frolik down to 3rd line with Bennett or Magpie & then Ryan on 4th line with Lucic & mix & match with whatever is left. Hopefully that improves the bottom 6 with Backlund & Frolik down there.

It’s early to say they miss anyone ..,but I just get bored with the same thing over and over. Try something different and if it doesn’t work you can go back to these lines

Not sure what you mean by bored but the bottom 6 are getting beat consistently. 0 goals, 2 assists and about minus 15 collectively.

They are not playing good enough...Last nights game alone though they played pretty well. B2B for the Flames in SJ when they have been resting since Thursday. Calgary was the better team, Sharks got the breaks.

Colorado, Dallas, Vegas, SJ on the road in your first 6 games is ridiculous really but that being said they haven't been good enough.

Talbot was pretty solid for a guy who hasn't played in two weeks

mixed bag...they were average at best last October and then ended up with 107

no need to panic yet

Eventually Backland will bury one of those chances, he needs to be better.

I know it's only 6 games into the season, but our defences needs to be a lot better. They're giving up too many shots and too many high risk scoring chances. Our forwards aren't backchecking well. It doesn't help when the team is taking needless penalties and playing with a man down. Last year, they were one of the least penalized teams. Not so much this year. For all of his hard work on improving his game in the off season, Bennett needs to finally show up this season. WTH! This team has SO much talent and it's frustrating to watch them piss away opportunities. Hoping that the turn around happens sooner rather than later.

This team has played like poop since February of Last year. Hoping they can turn it around but they need guys like Bennett and Brodie to be playing at higher levels and they need Monohan to be consistent.
