I'm pretty much meh on all of them. I was a ZacMac fan as well, but even if he makes it, it'll be as a 12th/13th forward.
I really hope Lind proves me wrong, would love to have a poop disturber like him on the team. - Nucker101
Lind has been playing smart . Some nice passing and definitely a poop disturber. He so far looks like the guy to keep an eye on.

Not sold on the depth at D. - VanHockeyGuy
You know that’s the one position that I don’t mind a GM building through free agency.
Too many high drafted Dmen disappoint, or underwhelm, or take a long time to develop.
Draft me strong goaltending and a skilled, dynamic forward group and I’m good. |

How’s his speed and strength this year?
Haven’t watched any Comets games this year but he looked weak last year and his skating seemed just OK for the AHL level |

Zac is like Archibald also. Has his moments but not consistent enough.
Bailey is just the better of a mediocre group. Lind looks like a keeper. - VANTEL
NHL for the cream of the crop. You kind of have it or you don't. Guys like Bailey might get a chance on a team like Ottawa but Canucks are past that stage. Unless they get back into 10 on the injured list at the same time.
Zack probably has more skill than Archie. Might give him enough to be the next Schaller type in the league.
Schaller was 26 before he played more than half a season in the NHL.
People were pretty down on Lind after last season. |

Speed okay needs more strength .
Jasek is one of the better skaters and skilled but a long shot. |

Comets forward group is slim pickings but maybe Hogslander PodK Madden or Lockwood ( slim chance)
I see Lind or Bailey as two players that could crack the lineup but not much else. MY opinion only. - VANTEL
Hoglander will make the big club next year i bet. |

Some big steps will need to be taken if any of the prospects are going to make the team next season. |

I am sort of leaning that they will keep Markstrom seeing Demko will only get about 30 games this year, if that. I also think the price has to be right. If he is looking for 7 mil I think they will move on
Tanev would be easier to fill the role on a lesser extent with a replacement . I hope he puts up decent numbers with Hughes and stays healthy and then maybe we can recoup that first that we traded. - VANTEL
Markstrom is playing for his payday while Holtby has already had his. Washington however is grooming Samsonov to take over while Vancouver will likely keep Demko in Limbo and then trade him for less than value. Both are in a contract year but not a precise comparison. I like what Washington is doing. |

Yeah I think Canucks are pretty set for next year. Hogslander maybe (best chance) Lind needs time to develop . |

Toffoli I've always liked as a 2nd line winger, I think he'd perform better playing on a faster team.
Let Bo or Gaudette be the new Jeff Carter between him and Pearson |

I elaborated after but yes, i've maybe not liked him but I am more tired of him scoring against Van. Almost as if he enjoys it. Maybe he would enjoy scoring for Van just as much. |

I think and Doughty still really hate the Canucks from the Kesler/Burrows days
Brown and Edler always try to hit each other as well, I wish Edler would play with that kind of hate more often, he always tries to (frank) up Brown, even in scrums bear the net I see him actually shoving Brown and Edler usually barely engages in scrums |

Brown hating the Sedin's.
Van's past two rivals both created in the playoffs LA and CHI. None are the same teams anymore. |

Yeah, I miss not having those type of rivalries anymore. We're the 3rd wheel in the Calgary and Edmonton rivalry.

Rivalries always gets players up for games and the carries over into other games as well. Teams only care if you are good though. |
