I just mean as a general practice. Seeing Dal Colle in the top six is depressing and a head-scratcher. I know they want to spread the talent, but I see no real reason that the 2nd line shouldn't be Beau-Nelson-Bailey until, potentially, Wahlstrom grabs the reigns and forces Trotz to keep him in the lineup. Then you can shift Bailey to LW and either play him or Beau on that line and the other on the 3rd with Brassard and, when everyone is healthy, Komarov.

Yup when everyone is healthy but that’s not the case. Basically you would have 2 decent lines now and then would have 2 shat lines.
Again I think they will use mostly 3 lines and just spreading out the talent with vets and youngsters.

Good start to the 2nd.

Is it me or has Boychuk been brutal?

Bobrovsky has allowed 4 goals in 10 shots.

Bobrovsky should've been voted "most likely to take a massive contract and then ride out the remainder of his career putting in a weak effort" this past offseason

He's been bad. No reason Dobson shouldn't be playing more than him in the short-term. Icing that puck a minute ago was asinine and not necessary.

Only thing could have been the Blues are big and physical. But JB has lost a step.

Flagged this by accident. It was very offensive.

Yeah Boychuk can handle the physicality but I don't really see the value if he can't keep up with anyone. Let Dobson get his bell rung, it'd be good for him. At least he can keep up with the pace.

I just think that they need to remove the kid-gloves at some point. I don't think the team is better with Boychuk playing. At least not the way he's playing right now.

True.

Couple good saves by Greiss this period so far.

The whole team just can’t finish whether it’s Barzal or Leo.

Trotz better start ripping into these guys. Half the team is floating around in the D-zone. Puck in the corner and 3 Isles just looked at it until a Blues player went and got it. .. brutal.

Yeah he's bailed them out quite a bit. Not gonna last forever, they need to figure out how to exit the zone with control and not just by chipping it over the neutral zone right to the Blues defensemen.

I hope he gets a couple games. If he keeps playing like he is today he's going to flat-out steal Dal Colle's spot and he should. I would really like to see Trotz stick him with either Barzal or Nelson's line for the rest of the game and see how he does with some better linemates.

If the object of hockey was to toe drag the puck between your legs the most we would be up 6-0. Throw the friggin puck at the net.

Already had about enough of Kuhnhackl on Barzal's line

Isles are 3% on FOW today. Bailey and Lee taking the draws soo maybe we win a few.
Not that FOs are important.

Also starting to think that I'd rather have Hickey here than Boychuk. It won't happen so when someone inevitably disagrees with me I'm not going to bother to argue, but Boychuk has been almost wholly-useless
