So Lee actually did go into Trotz’s office and demand pinwheelknuckle get sent to Bridgeport. Just a heads up.

Just finished the game but wow what a comeback need to play with that urgency much more. Liked wahlstroms game he looks good out there, hits, shoots makes some plays. Del colle should go to the box if the kid looks like that again. Can they even afford to send him down? They are in desperate need of a playmaker and he looks to be one and isnt afraid to shoot

Leave Wahlstrom up!

Barzal-Eberle-Lee
Nelson -Wahlstrom-Bailey
Brassard-Beau-del Colle
Cizikas-Cullterbuck- Kamarov

not sure why but you having the Centers on the left really angers me

LOL...

I think they will leave MDC with Brock b/c he "set up" his goal. Brock had a friggin horrific game until he scored on that terrible angle shot with 5 minutes left. the guy was losing the puck every shift.

I was really hopeful Brassard was going to be a steal for Lou. He has been terrible thus far this season. So much so that if he doesn't stop giving the puck away I would not be surprised to see Fritz or even Jobst up soon.

Although Bailey as 3 C might make more sense as he was the only friggin guy who won a face-off yesterday.

#Isles lines at practice today (no Cizikas (IR), Eberle, both lower-body, Cizikas with left foot in walking boot yesterday. Also, Ladd in non-contact jersey)

#Isles Barry Trotz says too soon to tell definitively whether either Casey Cizikas (IR/lower body) or Jordan Eberle (lower body) will make trip to Winnipeg for Thursday's game. Trotz said Eberle "doubtful" and that Cizikas is probably closer to returning. Both listed day to day.

I don't get the feeling that anyone here is going to disagree with you...contingent upon Wahlstrom's play continuing to look the way it did last night, obviously.

If his play tails off then you almost have to send him back to BPT to play top minutes. If he and Dal Colle are about equally effective than I think I'd rather see Wally playing top line/1PP in BPT than just plugging away getting 11-12 minutes a night here.

different players IMO.. I think most here feel Wahlstrom is a top 6 and MDC is a bottom 6 (AS IS FRIGGIN KUHKNACKL!!) .. so for Eberle's spot we all would like to see Beau or Wahlstrom get that spot. ... MDC has played well and I wouldn't mind him on the bottom 2 lines. I would imagine Martin gets back in for next game and Ross didn't do much last game. ... I would like to see...

Maybe another 30 games down there to work on his all around game but he has talent that this team needs

Yeah and I think if he keeps, more or less, playing the way he did yesterday then there is no reason in the world he shouldn't be playing as a top-6 RW. I could understand not bumping Eberle off the top line, but there is no reason in the world he shouldn't be able to push Dal Colle right on out of the lineup.

If Wahlstrom gets a full-time spot, there's nowhere for Dal Colle to play, unless Trotz keeps on leaving Martin in the press box. He's not pushing Lee/Bailey/Beau out of the lineup and, again assuming Wahlstrom wins a RW spot, he's not gonna play over Eberle/Wahlstrom/Komarov. There would have to be a reasonably significant change for Dal Colle to slot in. Like benching Brassard and sliding Komarov to C.

well unfortunately Cheryll seems close to coming back. That definetelly will mean Ollie heading back to bridge.

He's not close at all. Staple talked about him probably being out until after Thanksgiving. He's still in a non-contact jersey at practice.

The way Trotz has been benching Martin, and assuming Wahlstrom ingrains himself as a contributing factor to the offense, then I'm not so sure that Wahlstrom goes back. Obviously a lot has to and/or can happen between now and then. For now, it's awesome that we get to watch Ollie play.
