and he's not even on the 1st PP unit

Drops mic

- GilPerreault11

Oh man I feel so sorry for you dude. I truly do. Especially if you think a 6 game sample is a mic drop moment. For your sake I really hope he continues this level of defensive competency, because if history is any indication....

Comfortable?
Vesey 0 goals 0 assists.

Maybe a tad too comfortable. Hes been non existent at the games

- Boss34

He kills penalties but he has disappointed me offensively, not that I expected him to light it up.

I mean the line had extended zone time. They are our defacto 4th line at the end of the day. I was so impressed with the win I rewatched the extended highlights and the Mitts line showed up in several clips despite not getting on the scoreboard.

Good point, he has killed some penalties. It's mostly gurgs and Larsson though.

He scored 17 a couple times now.

I would say that was a safe minimum?

He's on pace for 0

casey does seem to look to his other side way more often, no matter if it was sheary or e rod

I expect it to get better, his defensive play has been outstanding

There was one play today where Mitts worked hard to get a decent shot off. Vesey was hanging out on the side of the next instead of creating some traffic. I rolled my eyes. It was the kind of soft perimeter play we've seen too much of the last few years.

Vesey's pretty much invisible.

Mitts played good for sure.

I'm unimpressed with a top 9 guy playing on the defacto 4th line .

That's something I haven't noticed. That casey looks away from that wing.

Defensively he really hasnt been noticable. I guess that's good, sorta like an o line man?

Outstanding not so sure

Right now he is more one dimensional

He needs to get better on the other end

And he will

Botts has acquired a true future top pair in Dahlin (luck) and Jokiharju (highway robbery) and a bunch of good D prospects.

He also had 5 points in 7 games as well when he was elevated to play with Sam. He can’t drive his own line but he can produce in a complimentary role. It’s tough to put up points when you get hardly any PP time. Mitts has one less even strength point then Eichel 6 games in.

We should hire a few of those guys. I'm pretty sure being a great point producer on defense makes a great head coach

A potential one, like Homie said, who is a big boy and can keep it in his pants, he has to develop his D game. I think it's nice that we are developing a solid D core which helps the overall team.

I forgot about him.

Miller's shot is ridiculous.

Maybe botts gives Seattle some picks this time to stay away? Make's more sense now that we have a solid young core

Edit* it might be risto
