Right where they were, $283K in space. Basically just swap him for Welinski. |

Hopefully Stewart just suits up when we need some muscle in the line up, ala the enforcer days. Him playing regularly over a younger guy would be a mistake imo. |

Depends. If his job is to sit in the suite and come in fr a game or two when they have an injury on a road trip, then I'd rather that be him than a young guy.
If he's going to be more of an every day or every other day player, then I agree. |

Just don't be AVs new Tanner Glass. Fine with the spot job on road trips like tonight, maybe goes with Lucic. |

Bobby Clarke had has insulin controlled diabetes and they wrote it off.... - missingmike
Understandable. Clarke was of character to control medication & diet.
I think the younger Domi has type 1 also.
Back and head issues are a whole other matter, and should have been a major red flag in addition to everything else that ailed him. Don't know if they were afraid to go off board, or they simply dismissed it all, or both. |

I don't think he needs to play tonight or tomorrow unless they want to give someone a night off. |

Back in the 60s and 70s, diabetes was viewed in a whole different way than it is now. |

Agreed. The plan is prob to have him in the cote suite most nights, and only dress occasionally. That's fine if so. poop..we could use him in the shootout probably..
They'd rather him sit than one of the kids. |

He will match up nicely against Lucic. Maybe during intermission the broadcast can debate which player possesses more nhl level abilities? |

So the best way to deal with players who like to fight is to use a spot in your lineup for a guy who will fight? That should be about 76th on the list of who is in the lineup, IMO.
To me, he would dress only if there was an issue in the Flyers lineup, not to address the other team's. |

Agree. Besides the dudes who do like to get into fights, Tchachuk/Lucic, would pummel Stewart into next week. |

In tonight's case, where the debate is between Bunnamn and Stewart, I'll take Stewart. I think you're looking at it as dress a goon because they have goons, but it's situational and its going with a veteran that throws the body and can fight over a rookie who just had a bad game. |
