by all means move Nylander for defenseman... or package him with Ceci for a better RHD guy...

I 100% agree. I am one of the most patient people here. It's why i didn't like the Muzzin trade. My concern is the Leafs are kind of in mixed minds. They seem to be going for it, see Muzzin and Barrie trades. I personally think they were the wrong moves to make. Sure if you really want to move Kadri, move Kadri, but i believe they got the wrong guy in return. Same as the Zaitsev trade
I actually think they are worse off as a team this year.

Muzzin trade is fine in my opinion because they got him for 2 years and with this core you make moves to try and win every year. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. Potentially worse this year but it's a risk they took, on paper they should be better since Ceci = Z and Barrie > Hainsey plus the additions of Mik and Moore have been nice. Still not a finished product and lots of new people so expected to take a bit longer to get it going this year.
